Questions, missing foods and subscriptions.

Answered by the person who made the app. This page covers the questions that come up most. You can also write from inside the app — Settings › Message the developer.

The name

Is Fiberday the app that used to be called Orbit?

Yes. Orbit became Fiberday (Fibreday in the UK) with version 1.4. It is the same app from the same developer: your log, saved meals, iCloud backup and Pro subscription carry over, and nothing needs to be reinstalled.

Foods and numbers

A food is missing.

The offline database is USDA’s plus European staples, so it has generic foods (“chicken breast, roasted”) rather than brands. For a packaged product, scan its barcode or tap “search branded foods online”. If it is still missing, scan the nutrition label or add your own food with the numbers on the label, and send the product name through Settings › Message the developer.

A number looks wrong.

Values are per serving of the portion you picked; check the portion chips on the food page. Branded values come from the label as entered on Open Food Facts or USDA and can be incomplete — a missing row means the label didn’t say.

Apple Health isn’t updating.

Writing to Health is a Pro feature and is off until you turn it on in Settings › Apple Health. Reading is granted in the Health app under Sharing › Apps › Fiberday.

Purchases

Subscriptions, trials and refunds.

Manage or cancel in iOS Settings › Apple Account › Subscriptions. Before a free trial converts, Fiberday sends a reminder two days ahead with the exact amount and date. Refunds are handled by Apple: reportaproblem.apple.com. To restore a purchase on a new phone, tap Restore Purchases in Settings.

Reminders

Fiberday only ever sends the 8 pm closer, a morning recap, a Sunday plants note and the trial heads-up. The closer and the recap only come after a day you logged, and the Sunday note needs at least two logged days that week. Turn them off in Settings › Reminders.

Your data

A new phone, or a reinstall.

If iCloud backup was on (it is by default) and the phone is signed in to the same Apple Account, Fiberday offers to bring your log back in one tap on a fresh install. You can also save a backup file and restore from it in Settings › Your data.

Delete my data.

Settings › Your data › Erase everything. It also removes the copy in your iCloud. There is no copy on any Fiberday server.

Anything else

Write to matcontact@tuta.io, or use Settings › Message the developer inside the app.
